Walnut Creek, CA., July 15, 2021—Relation Insurance Services, Inc. (“Relation”), one of the largest and fastest-growing national insurance agencies, announced today it acquired the assets of California-based Hooper, Spuhler, and Sturgeon Insurance Services (“HSS”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1922, HSS focuses predominantly on providing P&C products and services to farm, dairy and agribusiness clients in Tulare, Visalia, Bakersfield, and surrounding California communities. Led by Lonnie Hooper, Mike Muller, and Kristi Koetsier, HSS will provide Relation additional capabilities in the dairy and and livestock sectors. HSS will operate through Relation’s industry-leading agribusiness insurance division, Pan American Insurance Services. Celebrating its 75^th year in operation, Pan American has been at the forefront of providing innovative risk management solutions for agribusiness clients in California and Arizona.
