Ascension Insurance, Inc. Welcomes New Talent in Elissa Sanchez
Walnut Creek, Calif., 14 November 2016 – Ascension Insurance, Inc. is pleased to announce that Elissa Sanchez has joined the company as a Servicing Agent for Ascension’s Sundance Insurance business unit, effective immediately. Working out of the Yuma, AZ office, Elissa will be responsible for working with clients to develop strategies to prevent work-related illnesses and injuries, such as implementing OSHA Compliance Programs and conducting bilingual safety training sessions for managers, supervisors, and employees. Elissa will also work closely with Ascension’s Pan American Insurance Agency office in Palm Desert, CA.
Elissa holds certificates in a wide range of safety topics through UC San Diego’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) Department. Other certifications include AgSafe, Train-the-Trainer, EMS Safety Instructor, ASHI Instructor, and Food Safety through both the California and the Arizona Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement (LGMA).

Elissa has eight years of loss-control consulting experience and most recently worked for a regional broker. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resources, from Walden University.
