Ascension Insurance, Inc. Welcomes Michael Williams As Loss-Control Consultant
Walnut Creek, Calif., 24 July 2017 – Ascension Insurance, Inc. announced today that risk-control professional Michael Williams has joined the company as a Loss-Control Consultant. In this role, Michael will be responsible for providing comprehensive risk-management and loss-control programs to Ascension’s clients in the east. He will be based out of Ascension’s Charlotte, North Carolina office.
Michael brings almost a decade of safety and loss-control experience to Ascension. He joins from BrickStreet Mutual Insurance, where, in his most recent position as Safety-and-Loss-Control Consultant, he provided risk-management advice to clients in various industries. While at BrickStreet Mutual, he also honed his expertise in conducting comprehensive evaluations, which involved considering and identifying loss analysis, near-miss identification, repeat claimants, hiring practices, training sufficiency, OSHA compliance, fleet management, and other crucial business functions, to determine clients’ overall risk.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in July 2009 from Campbell University and, subsequently, his Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health in May 2016 from Marshall University. He has various professional designations in the field, including, but not limited to, the following certifications: PEC Safe Land USA, OSHA 10 HR General Industry and Construction, National Safety Council DDC-4 Instructor, West Virginia Property/Casualty Producer, and West Virginia Company Adjuster.
