Weintraub will be joining its board of directors as its new treasurer effective January 1, 2017. Life Happens is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping consumers take personal financial responsibility through the ownership of life insurance and related products. Since its inception in 1994, Life Happens has provided high-quality, independent, and objective information to people seeking help with their insurance-buying decisions.
Michael, who is president of Ascension’s retirement division, has been involved with Life Happens for many years. He first served as a board member and then as board chair in 2011. He is active in numerous industry organizations including the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, where he also served as president of its foundation, as well as the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, where he was a board member.
