POSITION SUMMARY

The Carrier Migration Team Lead plays an essential role in supporting Relation’s comprehensive integration strategy for new acquisitions, ensuring all agency appointments and contracts are converted post acquisition in an efficient and strategic manner. As part of their responsibilities, this individual will provide leadership, training, and professional development to support individual growth and success of the team.


A GLIMPSE INTO THE POSITION

  • Leads an enthusiastic and engaged team which is responsible for the efficient migration of carrier records, systems, and relationships for newly acquired agencies 
  • Plans, monitors, and controls several assigned projects concurrently to effectively use time and team resources to achieve targets and goals
  • Manages the day-to-day functions and performance of the Carrier Migration Team
  • Coordinates with internal team(s) to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and to required specifications
  • Supports process enhancements and varied special projects to attain key performance improvements or reduce risk
  • Actively participates in the hiring process, provides recommendations for hiring, and oversees new hire onboarding process
  • Identifies and provides recommendations on efficiency improvements
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Delivers ad-hoc training as required
  • Provides weekly status reports to management
  • Performs other related duties and/or projects as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced expertise with MS Office products (Excel, Access, Word, etc.) required
  • Experience in the insurance industry strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading a team
  • 5+ years of experience in administration, operations, or professional services required
