Agro Crop

About Agro Crop Insurance Agency

Agro Crop is an established brand in the agribusiness community. Formed in 1981, it was one of the first private crop-insurance agencies in the United States. The agency has specialized solely in crop insurance since then, with a focus on almonds, grapes (both wine and table), prunes, citrus, and avocado.

Navigating the Complex World of Crop Insurance

Crop insurance is unique due to federal subsidies that make it highly regulated. If tailored correctly, it can help you continue farming after a severe weather event; however, you have a unique blend of financial factors, environmental exposures, and rigid and unforgiving underwriting rules to consider. Placing the correct program is dependent upon a complex analysis of your field locations, crop types, natural perils, and the overall financial risk you have out in the field. We are endorsed by several leading agribusiness associations to provide crop insurance to their members.
